Summer 2008 in Norwich has been one never to forget. More than fifty beautiful elephants, decorated by artists and community groups have brought the streets alive, providing a talking (and walking) point and showcasing the region’s rich artistic talent.

Norwich’s intimate network of streets has proved the perfect urban savannah for these painted pachyderms. The city and the art have been enjoyed by people, particularly families, in their thousands – joining the safari with cameras and trail maps in hand.

We would like to thank all the artists who have worked tirelessly throughout the project and all those organisations who had the vision to support it.
